Научный миф как основа современного научно-популярного текста

Abstract

The research is devoted to the description of scientific myth and features of its linguistic representation in popular scientific texts. The paper focuses on the importance of scientific knowledge in the life of a modern man, as well as on the peculiarities of its formation and existence in the public consciousness. Complexity and specifity of scientific language is denoted as the major problem of the perception of scientific knowledge by an ordinary man. The author considers popular scientific substyle as the main way of popularization of scientific knowledge and creation of scientific myth. The feature of modern scientific knowledge is a process of mythologizing, which is carried out in the language. Scientific myth is considered as a form of popularization of scientific knowledge, a special way of existence of social consciousness in the scientific field. The paper describes the reasons of mythologizing of scientific knowledge, as well as the content of environmental myth, methods of linguistic representations of the myth. Mythologizing methods of scientific knowledge in popular scientific texts are denoted as the main rhetorical techniques. Popular scientific substyle, subdivision of scientific style, is characterized as a major sphere where mythologization of scientific knowledge is carried out.

Статья посвящена описанию научного мифа и особенностей его языкового представления в научно-популярных текстах. Основное внимание уделяется значению научного знания в жизни современного человека, особенностям формирования и бытования этого научного знания в общественном сознании. Основной проблемой при восприятии научного знания обычным человеком названа проблема сложности, специализированности научного языка. Научно-популярный подстиль рассматривается как основной способ популяризации научного знания и создания научного мифа. Особенностью современного научного знания является процесс его мифологизации, который осуществляется в языке. Научный миф рассматривается как форма популяризации научного знания, особый способ бытования общественного сознания в научной сфере. Описываются причины мифологизации научного знания, содержание экологического мифа, способы языкового представления мифа. Способы мифологизации научного знания в научно-популярных текстах описаны как основные риторические приемы. Научно-популярный подстиль собственно научного стиля описан как основная сфера, в которой осуществляется процесс мифологизации научного знания.
