Phase transition temperatures, heat capacity and structure of wood pulp with different cellulose and its nitrate crystallinity index are studied using differential thermal analysis, calorimetry and electron microscopy. A relationship is shown between physico-chemical properties of cellulose, its source and the degree of its ordering.
