Abstract

In the following article the influence of the Civil war in Spain (1936-1939) on the german-soviet relations is thoroughly investigated. Among other local wars and confrontations of the 1930s there were no equal participants to it on structure, type and character of conducting operations, scale of use of a military technology, results and lessons. Actually on the ground of Spain a dress rehearsal of the Second World War, which broke out exactly in five months after the end of the Spanish epopee, had taken place. The author considers the dynamics of the development of the german-soviet political and economic relations during the Civil war in Spain. The author tries to look at this process in a new way and to give a respective evaluation of the events, happened at that time.
