Abstract

As a result of research it has been established that in the course of covering the distances of 50 m to 400 m at a maximal velocity by four sports swimming strokes, the most profound training effect is produced during the swimming at full coordination, and somewhat less during the swimming with lag kicks or with the arm strokes. The urgent training effect of the applied loads depends on a level of developing the individual functional abilities of athlete's organism.
