Abstract

The purpose of the article is the study of life on the example of a brilliant representative of the best parts of the Siberian merchants of the first half of the XIX century to demonstrate the role and importance of the subjective factor in the development of culture of philanthropy in the Siberian province.

Цель статьи на примере изучения жизни яркого представителя лучшей части сибирского купечества первой половины XIX в., показать роль и значение субъективного фактора в развитии культуры, благотворительности в сибирской провинции.
