The methodology of customs bodies activities of the Russian Federation on protection of intellectual property rights at moving the goods containing objects of intellectual property through customs border is opened in the article. Also the analysis of the legislative base regulating the given field of the activity of customs bodies is carried out in the article. The author has defined characteristic features of the national system of intellectual property rights protection by customs bodies, its lacks and has made recommendations about the elimination of the latter.

В статье раскрыта методология работы таможенных органов Российской Федерации по защите прав интеллектуальной собственности при перемещении товаров, содержащих объекты интеллектуальной собственности, через таможенную границу, а также проведен анализ законодательной и нормативной базы, регулирующей данную сферу деятельности таможенных органов. Автором выявлены характерные черты национальной системы защиты таможенными органами прав интеллектуальной собственности, ее недостатки и даны рекомендации по устранению последних
