Abstract

The present article reveals the currency of methodological and didactic aspect of conceptual metaphors analysis, after the example of the conceptual metaphor representation study of the theories of state. It is shown that metaphorization is a productive means of representing the main concepts of the discourse of political sciences, the concept "state", in particular. The "building" metaphor is analyzed to prove that whole metaphoric conceptual systems underlying different theories of state are formed.
