Abstract

The study of samples of metal hubs RMK, used in BelAZ, submitted by non-destructive and destructive methods of control. It is found that the use of the underlying technology for the repair results in a change in the structure and hardness of the metal in the area facing the gear ring, resulting in the destruction of metal (formation of cracks in the casing) during operation RMK repair and reuse. It is shown that the spectral-acoustic method of control may be used in controlling the of the hub shell metal of gear-motor wheel used in the vehicle BELAZ 7555.
