Abstract

The article is dedicated to the history of diplomatic confrontation between the USSR and the Third Reich after the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact signing. There are discussed the problems of the Soviet and German «spheres of influence» formation on the geopolitical space between the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany: connection to the USSR of the Western Ukraine, Western Belarus and the Baltic Republics, Bessarabia and Northern Bukovina, expansion of the Triple pact, and the diplomatic confrontation between the USSR and Germany in the Balkans.
