Статья посвящена иконописи Пошехонья 2-й половины XVII начала XIX в. Изучение данной проблемы началось сравнительно недавно. Древняя живопись Череповецкого Воскресенского монастыря с расположенными вокруг него не-большими локальными центрами может рассматриваться как особый историко-художественный ареал Русского Севера
