Abstract

Analyses of the existing designs of supports and lock joints used is given, and also mine opening supports interaction with bearing rock massif. Different methods of big cross-section mine opening heading are reviewed. Each of the described methods is characterized by a certain sequence of tunnel gallery parts opening, by their immediate support and installation in them constant support elements until complete connection of lining, which will stand rock pressure the best.
