Abstract

The article deals with a steady people in the old civilizations of the institutions of property, labor, concentration and the role of the state in this process. Authors studied the primary sources noted the special nature of work in the ancient civilizations, which include producing the type of work and the associated conditions for the acquisition and distribution of wealth. Attention is drawn to the fact that mining type of work does not create conditions for material well-being of individuals based on their own skills and physical resources, which leads to the need for active involvement of the state in control of property, wealth distribution and direct involvement in the organization of the labor process. Mining the type of labor determines the particular way the relationship between institutions of political power and property is completely subordinated to the second to the first.
