Abstract

The suggested methodology is suitable for solving the problems in a large river basin with creation of integrated decision making support systems (DMSS). Such systems consider a water object as a whole with all technical, economic and other problems related to it. They provide tools for analyses of different water quality problems to take into account all formal and informal considerations involved in planning, design and management of water recourse system. DMSS of water quality management consists of two subsystems the upper level of large water bodies and small rivers and localities. Optimization tasks involve of the best complex of protection measures at low costs ensuring normal water quality in water objects.
