Abstract

Physical growth and development are among the most important indicators of children's health. Boarding-school inmates have growth deviation more often than other representatives of children population the rate is 5-9 times higher. This is predisposed by negative early medical and social anamnesis. The causes for dwarfism genesis are nonendocrine in most cases (92,76 %). Inmates with growth inhibition have more serious deviations in health, psychological and social status that their relatives with average anthropometric characteristics. The authors present the model of integrated medical, psychological, educational and social support for children with the low level of physical growth and development. The model allows to increase their life quality considerably.
