Abstract

Results of studying of gross changes in a liver of cats at chronic renal failure are presented. It is positioned that in all cats the liver is irregularly increased with fields of greyish and clay colour, and at a part of animals nutmeg. At the histological researches was established the presence of intralobular and interlobular oedema, dystrophic changes of hepatocytes, accumulation in their cytoplasm of bilirubin, foci of growth of the interlobular fibrous connective tissue and significant microscopic changes of all structural components of hepatic triads.
