Abstract

The aim of the study was a comprehensive assessment of the effectiveness stabilographic restorative treatment using a new method of dynamic proprioceptive correction (MDPK) in children with cerebral palsy (CP) and the effects of traumatic brain injury (TBI) in the long run. In patients with head injury consequences in the form of spastic tetraparesis more severe disorder marked vertical stability than in patients with cerebral palsy, spastic diplegia, despite the similarity of clinical symptoms, that determines the benefits of applying the method of computer stabilography to diagnosis of maintaining a vertical posture, as well as monitoring the effectiveness of restorative treatment. Use in the treatment of children with MDPK diseases of the nervous system, arising as a result of brain damage in different stages of ontogeny, contributes to a more pronounced improvement of the vertical stability than the traditional methods of treatment.
