Abstract

Optimizing treatment of coronary heart disease is one of the most urgent problems in modern cardiology. Introduction into medical practice of the original domestic drug that affects the metabolism of the myocardium Thiotriazolin is of significant theoretical and practical interest to clinical medicine. Meta-analysis of cardioprotective properties of Thiotriazolin showed the feasibility of its use in the combined therapy of myocardial infarction, angina, arrhythmia, heart failure, etc. Pharmacoeconomic evaluation of using Thiotriazoline in the combined therapy of patients with stable angina of II-III functional class compared with trimetazidine enables to determine the advantages of using Thiotriazolin according to the cost/effectiveness and cost minimization methodologies.
