Abstract

Studying the history of development of the chant cycle «Troparions Jordanian» in early Rus the author gives the special attention to the singsong («raspev») of the given cycle created by Moscow master Feodor Krestijanin. The researcher decodes the hooked («krukovaya») notation record that is translates from ancient hooked ("krukovaya" or "znamennaya") notation record into modern one with description of the applied technique of translation. By means of the retrospective method the manuscripts of the second half of XVII century are analyzed, search for Troparions's lists similar in neume structure to the troparions by Feodor Krestijanin is carried out. The given lists have the little red sighs («kinovarnye pomety») allowing to reveal the pitch of tones and some rhythmic features of neumes by which singsongs are written down. As well the materials of the ancient reference manuals are used. By comparison of all received lists the graphic distinctions are revealed, the translation is specified at the level of the smallest author's deviations.
