Abstract

Mineral resources as the most valuable as compared to other types of natural resources are the base for the natural resource potential in the region. Evaluation of subsoil forming regional production complexes is among the most important regional economic problems of mineral raw materials. This question is particularly relevant for determining prospects of development with a decisive role of mineral resources in the formation of regional production complexes. Comprehensive assessment of the mineral resource base in the region with the use of modern technologies can serve as a basis for long-term planning of development of industries related to the production, processing and consumption of raw materials, identification ofareas for prospecting and exploration in the future, resolving the issue of attracting investment capital.
