Abstract

The analysis of the process of decline in the number of urban residents and the settlements in the Baikal Region in 1989-2006 is given. The dynamics of the ratio of urbanites in total population of the Irkutsk and the Chita Regions and the Republic of Buryatia is shown. The structure of urban network, urban population, the rate of natural increase and the rate of migration gain are considered.

Анализ развития процессов сокращения количества жителей и числа городских поселений в Байкальском регионе в 1989-2006 гг. Динамика доли горожан в общей численности населения Иркутской, Читинской областей и Республики Бурятия. Структура городской сети, населения городов коэффициенты естественного и миграционного прироста населения.
