Abstract

Biological properties of Staphylococcus aureus, isolated from bacterial car-riers of various types anticarnosine activity, ability to form biofilms, sensitivity to antibiotics were studied. Gene determinants of pathogenicity in bacterial carrier’s strains of Staphylococcus aureus genes lukS and lukF, sec 3, clfA, clfB, agr and mecA were identified. S.aureus strains, isolated from resident bacterial carriers, more often had anticarnosine activity and ability to form biofilms with higher values of features than strains isolated from transient bacterial carriers. These signs can be used as epidemiological markers bacterial carrier’s strains of staphylococci. Discovered determinants of pathogenicity are likely to give rise to certain endogenous infections.
