Abstract

The origin of the first musical-scenic genre «musical drama» in the region of Volga Kama Rivers is connected with the name of S. Saidashev. The article presents differentiation of this genre in the composer’s work. It is proposed to consider it like an independent form of musical-scenic art. Attention is also paid on the problem of preservation and promotion of composer’s works because of absence of a special theatre.
