Abstract

The article considers the analysis of non-linguistic and linguistic aspects of identity relation. Identity is the key concept not only of the logic science, but of philosophy, mathematics and linguistics as well. The author assumes that there is a variety of conceptions, types and modifications of identity. Objects of the world exist in relation and interdependence with each other. Thus the notions which that they reflect are committed in a certain relationship: identity relation meet the relations of inclusion and intersection, while intersection and inclusion relation in properties include the element of identity. Identity relation is the basis of identity proposition: logic model A=B. The structure of qualifying proposition S+Vc+P is the nuclear syntactic model of the identity proposition. The syntactic structure S+Vc+P describes the other types of relations. This structure shows the inclusion of a subject into a category, defined by a predicate (classification proposition), or characterize the subject of the utterance (characterization proposition).
