The paper considers three scientific approaches, existing in the theory of the constitutional law of Russia on the study of the basic trends of activities of Federal executive bodies in the Russian Federation in the sphere of migration and the position of individual scientists on the researched problematics. In the text the author’s approach to the definition of the theoretical-methodological concept on the exploration of the main trends of state bodies in the field of realization of migration policy is presented. The author moves suggestions on their legal regulation.

В статье рассмотрено три научных подхода, существующих в теории конституционного права России по изучению основных направлений деятельности федеральных органов исполнительной власти Российской Федерации в сфере миграции, и указаны позиции отдельных ученых по исследуемой проблематике. В тексте представлен авторский подход к определению теоретико-методологической концепции по исследованию основных направлений деятельности государственных органов в области реализации миграционной политики и содержатся предложения по их правовой регламентации.
