Abstract

Recent years are characterized by growing interest towards aspects of integration within Russian-Chinese interaction. Moscow and Beijing almost simultaneously launched their own integration projects, respectively the Eurasian Economic Union and the “Silk Road Economic Belt.” While strengthening the structure of bilateral cooperation, the conjugation of the projects influence regional multilateralism by involving increasing number of actors. Such processes may reinforce Russian-Chinese regional cooperation, e.g., between Russian Far East and Northeast China.
