Abstract

The article presents the results of common gynecological and mammological examinations of women, who have shown a high co-morbidity of the genital organs and breasts – 77,6 %. The effectiveness of screening with a radionuclide mammoscintigraphy based of gamma-radiation 59Fe increased by an average of 40 %. The mammoscintigraphy showed its informative value as the initial evaluation of women, and as a method for monitoring the effectiveness of indole-3-carbinol in the treatment of benign breast diseases.
