Abstract

The results of treatment of 596 patients with bleedings from the upper gastrointestinal tract were analyzed. Methods of conservative therapy, endoscopic therapy and surgical treatment were used. It was determined necessity of a differentiated method of endoscopic treatment depending on the localization of the bleeding source, its intensity and effectiveness of argon plasma coagulation for continuous bleeding.
