Abstract

Successful waging of war required a lot of money. Anti-Bolshevik governments on the territory of the Urals and Siberia collected taxes for this purpose. They actively involved the police in this process. Hard measures of the authorities caused dissatisfaction of the peasants. It became one of the reasons for the defeat of the White Movement in the region.
