Abstract

The basic traditions of training officers are described. The traditions in the system of military education are analysed, particularly in the educational process of HEIs of rocket armies and artillery. It is argued that the process of education in military HEIs, based on the traditions of training officers shots, should include the de velopment of spiritual needs of pre-service officers.
