Abstract

The article is concerned with the study of intraregional differentiation of social development of municipal districts on the pattern of Orenburg region as the region of agrarianindustrial type. The aggregate evaluation of the situation with social infrastructure and social conditions of the districts by the complex of individual indices, concerning the functioning of basic subsystems of the social sphere and the population living conditions of the given territory in 2006 (the primary one ) and 2011(the year under study), has been carried out. This made it possible to analyze profoundly the situation with the social sphere of municipal districts. The groups of districts with different correlations of the chosen criteria for the current state of social sphere evaluation have been singled out, a comparative analysis of their structure and their basic characteristics in the base year and the year under observation has been made. The stable and unstable subgroups of districts have been revealed. The change in evaluation data concerning the social sphere condition in 2011 as related to 2006 has been studied for the districts included into the unstable subgroups. The main types of changes in the position of the districts have been determined and described.
