Abstract

В статье рассматриваются особенности русского языка конца XVIII в., отраженные в мемуарах Е.П. Яньковой: речевой этикет и светский жаргон, новые лексико-фразеологические явления, этнографизмы и просторечие, специфические грамматические формы и варианты слов. Фрагменты, иллюстрирующие оценки «бабушкой» прошлых и новых языковых явлений, позволяют фиксировать время новаций, их семантические и стилистические оттенки, сферу употребления.
