Abstract

The article is dedicated to the investigation of the sources of works of the Colombian writer of the XIX-th century Jorge Isaacs. It is generally known, that an idyllic novel of a French writer Bernardin de Saint-Pierre influences the writer. In the article you can find the comparative analysis of two novels and investigation of ways of the creation and destruction of idyll in both novels.

В статье рассматриваются истоки творчества колумбийского писателя XIX века Хорхе Исаакса и жанровые источники его романа «Мария». Общеизвестно, что на Исаакса оказал большое влияние идиллический роман французского писателя Бернардена де Сент-Пьера «Поль и Виргиния». В статье дан сравнительный анализ двух романов, исследуются способы создания и разрушения идиллии в обоих романах.
