Abstract

The theoretical fundamentals and technological features of creating the release-active medicine forms are presented in the review. The release-active medicine form is a new class of pharmacological agents, created and manufactured by SPC «Materia Medica Holding» (Russia) for the prevention and treatment of multifactor diseases and acute respiratory viral infections. This review includes information about the features, advantages and beneficial properties of these drugs, based on the results of more than 50 laboratory and clinical studies published in Russian and English. On the example of Ergoferon, based on release-active antibodies to human interferon-y, CD4 and histamine, we consider the peculiar properties of their action, and present results of experimental and clinical study of their effectiveness and safety in treatment of a wide spectrum of viral infections, including influenza.
