Particular attention is paid to the cyclisation poetics, meta-plot and meta-narration in this collection. Intertextual interference and intertext parallelism are defined as most important types of poetry and prose interaction. The collection Ballads and Tales is regarded in the broad context of Zhukovskys lyrics, its diary and epistolary prose.
