Abstract

The investigation results of fertilizing application of manure-bearing waste water for flowers are presented. The effect of wastewater pressure head into the irrigation network and the size of the holes in the sub-soil moisturizer on the growth, development and yield of marigold flowers (Tagetes) is investigated. The optimal application parameters in the set conditions were found under the wastewater pressure head value as much as 0.93 m and the hole size of 4 mm. The application of wastewater from milking parlors as a liquid fertilizer allows to avoid environmental pollution, and to reduce demand in water and mineral fertilizers. That renders positive effect on plant growth and development, as the wastewater contains all required basic nutritive elements, which are in the form readily available for plants.
