From the perspective of general characteristics of native historiography of the problems of foreign policy of Kaiser Germany at the end of the19th the beginning of the 20th centuries, the works of modern West Siberian historians on naval subject are considered and characterized in the article, and the major factors which have caused their originality and the importance for the Russian science are defined.

При общей характеристике отечественной историографии проблем внешней политики кайзеровской Германии конца XIX начала XX в. рассмотрены и охарактеризованы труды современных историков Западной Сибири по военно-морской тематике, определены основные результаты, обусловившие их оригинальность и значимость для российской науки.
