Abstract

In the article we regard estate landscapes unusual and rear works by Zhukovsky which were inspired by Russian winter. A row of the most impressive images of late autumn and early spring created by the master is figured out by the author. A country-side estate in a moonlit night, the prince’s house in the gleam of sunset, a wooden estate in a windy weather or an abandoned estate captured by snow the motives of the canvases are never repeated which shows the diversity of creative searches of the artist.
