Abstract

The currently existing methods of acute cholecystitis modeling were analyzed. The benefits of the new method modeled in laboratory animals (rabbits) were confirmed. A specific feature of the method is the identification and ligation not only of the cystic duct but of the cystic artery as well. The method takes into account both the microbial factor and circulatory disorders of the gallbladder.
