Abstract

The article deals with the data of speech pragmatics (pragmatics addressee) or the author of the text, and so we have an opportunity to explain the features of functionalsemantic organization of explicit macro-structures in the novel of “Three Men in a Boat: to say nothing of the dog” as a realization of author’s speech in the text, such as discourse – pragmatic factors, like a factor of the addressee.
