Abstract

The article is devoted to the specificity of expressiveness manifestation in literary texts based on compound sentences with uniform subordination of clauses. It substantiates and proves the proposition that due to their variant change ability such structures are able to convey hidden additional meanings, providing the text with additional expressiveness. This leads to their wide popularity among poets and writers, which makes such structures an important element of author’s idiostyle. Each structural part of the constructions in question interacts with other synthaxemes and determines the connections and relations reflecting the present and directed at the future. The distinguishing structural elements of such synthaxemes are the fixed position of compound sentence parts, conjunctions, syndetic words, demonstrative and reference words, as well as the presence of subordinative syndetic words in each clause, which aids the creation of harmoniousness.
