The paper looks into peculiarities of fashion discourse and examines ways of actualizing grammatical categories in articles that provide instructions on fashion. The analysis reveals the compositional structure of fashion texts, considers the grammatical categories of location, modality, quantity and quality relevant to this subtype of fashion discourse, and determines linguistic means of their representation.
