Abstract

In his article the phraseological classes of the somatic phraseological units expressing negative emotions in English and Vakhan languages are considered. The author tried to research and systematize the ways of reflection of negative emotional states of fright, fear, wrath, horror, panic, anger and rage in phraseological units of English and Vakhan languages. As the material testifies, the main way of modelling of negative state in the described microfields of compared languages are extralinguistic factors of emergence, formation and reflection, first of all, of physiological condition, mental perception which become a field of reflection of phraseological units in the languages considered.
