Abstract

This work sums up the author's study of life and work of the academician of historical and portrait painting Mikhail Ivanovich Myagkov (1797-1852). The article contains a survey of documentary and iconography origins about the painter and considers how deep they have been studied.

Работа подводит итоги изучения жизни и деятельности академика исторической и портретной живописи Михаила Ивановича Мягкова (1797-1852). Статья содержит обзор документальных и иконографических источников о художнике и рассматривает состояние их изученности.
