Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of cultural components of the ceramic of the steppe Ural Middle Bronze Age. It was established that this ceramic group belongs to different cultures and not to the Catacomb one only as it was supposed before. Some links with pit grave culture traditions of the Volga Ural region are identified. The results of the research allow to specify and correct the aspects of the cultural genesis in the Volga Ural region.
