The information on the development of the first in our country University Department of Biochemistry organized at the end of 1928 is given. The main development stages of teaching various biological chemistry fields and related disciplines are considered. The data of establishing principal directions in scientific research work at the Department since the very beginning up to now are presented.
В статье приведены сведения об истории развития первой в нашей стране университетской кафедры биохимии, организованной в конце 1928 г. Рассмотрены основные этапы развития преподавания различных областей биологической химии и смежных дисциплин. Представлены данные о становлении основных направлений научно-исследовательской работы на кафедре. Библиогр. 26 назв.
