Об употреблении взаимно-возвратного местоимения в связи с реализацией идеи множественности

Abstract

The article focuses on the functioning of the pronoun “ друг друга (each other) ” and discusses the possibilities of its correlation with the various antecedents expressing the concept of plurality. We consider the cases of the coreferential use of the reciprocal pronoun in the contexts with collective nouns, numeral phrases, and pronouns of other categories. Possible mistakes in the use of “ друг друга ” pronoun are identified. The article also describes certain details concerning the rules governing its use in speech.

В статье анализируются особенности функционирования местоимения друг друга. Оцениваются возможности его соотнесенности с антецедентами различной природы, реализующими идею множественности деятелей. Рассматриваются случаи кореферентного употребления взаимно-возвратного местоимения с собирательными существительными, счетными оборотами, местоимениями других разрядов. Указываются возможные ошибки в использовании местоимения друг друга. Предлагаются некоторые рекомендации по употреблению данного местоимения в речи.
