Abstract

In the paper analysis of the results of the study of influence of family surroundings on the peculiarities of emotional disorders in children with neurosis-like disorders and neuroses is presented. The types of parents’ attitude and family upbringing in the families of children of the studied groups are reviled. Insufficient acceptance of the child, excessive control of the child’s actions, underestimation of the child as a personality and pathological family upbringing by the type of dominating hyper-protection is noted in the families with children with neurosis-like disorders. In the families with children with neuroses, the type of upbringing corresponds to indulgent hyper-protection; the indications of uncertainty in choosing of the strategy of upbringing and of preference of infantilism are revealed. The peculiarities of the structure of personality of children of each group depending on the types of parents’ attitude and family upbringing are defined. Emotional instability, immaturity, irresponsibility, excitability, impatience, tension, dependence on human environment and flippancy are typical for the children with neurosis-like disorders. For the children with neuroses, those are anxiety, listlessness, languor, rigidity, low spirits, reticence, suspiciousness, tension, dependence on human environment and flippancy. It is shown that children of both groups use ineffective types of frustrational reactions. Correlation between the effect of family surroundings on the peculiarities of the structure of personality and the types of frustrational reactions for the children of each studied group is analyzed.
