Abstract

Different approaches and methods to assess the level and operation of corporate entities and business, which are used in Russia and abroad, are given; their advantages and disadvantages are analyzed. A new approach to the assessment of vertically integrated structures for vertically integrated corporate structures (which assesses the effectiveness of its establishment and operation), summarizing the most valuable (and applicable to modern Russian conditions) tools and techniques from these approaches, is given.
