Abstract

В статье рассматриваются основные методологические принципы отбора и организации учебного материала, которые позволяют оптимизировать процесс обучения профессионально ориентированному иностранному языку. Основное внимание уделяется путям повышения эффективности обучения профессионально ориентированной лексике. Практическое применение обсуждаемых принципов на практике показано на примерах из учебно-методического комплекса для студентов специальности ѕРеклама и связи с общественностьюї, разработанного автором.

The article is concerned with major methodological principles of selecting and sequencing materials that form the base for an efficient ESP course. The main focus is on options for enhancing the effectiveness of ESP vocabulary teaching and learning. The article gives an account of how the considered principles have been implemented in practice in a course series for PR students designed by the author.
