The use of such concept as general conditions of the stage has great importans for the conceptual structure of the before trial stage of the criminal procedure. Autors` conclusions and proposals have been drawn here on the grounds of the analysis of different points of view published in the scientific literature.

Введение в научный оборот понятия «общие (принципиальные) условия стадии» является особенно важным для понятийного аппарата досудебного этапа уголовного процесса. В статье на основе анализа опубликованных в научной литературе точек зрения сделаны авторские выводы и предложения по данному аспекту.
